Overview
SSQ221 is a protection chip suitable for 3~4S lithium-ion batteries. It provides comprehensive protection for batteries by integrating high-precision voltage, current, and temperature detection and delay circuits, ensuring safe use of batteries, and extending their service life.

- Range: 【3.650V；3.850V；4.150V ~ 4.400V】, accuracy: ± 25 mV ,step: 25mV
- Hysteresis: [0~400mV], step 100mV
- Discharge undervoltage protection:
- Range: 【2.200V~ 2.800V】, accuracy: ± 30 mV , step: 100mV
- Hysteresis: [200~500mV], step: 100mV
- Charging overcurrent protection
- Range: 【- 0.005V~- 0.080V】, accuracy: ± 5mV, step: 5mV
- Discharge overcurrent protection:
- Discharge overcurrent detection 1: Range: [0.050V~0.100V], Accuracy: ± 5mV, Step: 50mV
- Discharge overcurrent detection 2: Range: [0.100V~0.200V], Accuracy: ± 10mV, Step: 100mV
- Short circuit protection detection: Range: [200mV; 400mV], Accuracy: ± 20mV
- Temperature protection:
- Charging high temperature, charging low temperature; Four temperature protections for high and low discharge temperatures, with thresholds flexibly set through external resistors
- Delay time:
- Three protection delays, discharge overcurrent 1, discharge overcurrent 2, and discharge undervoltage, are flexibly set through external capacitors
- Battery balancing:
- Internal and external balancing extend battery pack life
- Low voltage charging prohibition:
- Prevent battery abuse and ensure battery safety
- Status detection:
- Accurate detection of charging and discharging status, refined protection
- MOS protection:
- Inhibits overheating of charging and discharging MOS body diodes, with high reliability
- Sleep function:
- Normal state: (typical) 15μA
- Sleep state: (typical) 5μA
