Boost Regulators

The SS88/89 is a series of high conversion efficiency, low power consumption, and high operating frequency PFM synchronous boost DC-DC converter chip. Using PFM control circuit, the chip can automatically switch duty cycle coefficient according to the load current, which can obtain low ripple, high efficiency and wide output voltage range. The built-in synchronous switch tube and the low consumption current of the chip can effectively improve the conversion efficiency of DC-DC and equipment life cycle. Only three components are needed on the periphery to boost the low input battery voltage to the desired operating voltage.
SS61 is a high efficiency synchronous step-up converter with ultra-low quiescent current. It is capable of delivering at least 2W of power from a low voltage source, i.e. 0.4A at 5V output. It also features a true-shutoff function that disconnects the input from output, during shutdown and output short-circuit conditions. This eliminates the need for an external MOSFET and its control circuitry to disconnect the input from output and provides robust output overload protection. A high switching frequency minimizes solution footprint by allowing the use of tiny and low profile inductors and ceramic capacitors. An internal synchronous MOSFET provides highest efficiency and with a current mode control that is internally compensated, external parts count is reduced to minimal. With the ultra-low Iq feature, SS61 is ideal for solution that requires low standby power and compact board size such as IoT applications.
SS91 is a low-power, high-efficiency, PFM-controlled synchronous boost converter. On the basis of PFM, the independent patented technology is adopted, which on the one hand eliminates the influence of the output capacitance ESR of the converter on the stability and improves the steady-state accuracy of the output voltage. On the other hand, the operating frequency of the system is as high as 1.2MHz, while maintaining ultra-low quiescent current to achieve the highest conversion efficiency.
SS95 is a synchronous switching charge management chip with an integrated charge current sensing unit, providing a maximum charge current of 1.2A and charging efficiency up to 95%.
SSD10X is a low-power, high-efficiency synchronous boost converter. The conversion efficiency is high, the external components are few, the solution occupies a small area, supports short-circuit protection, and the output voltage can be adjusted. At the same time, it integrates UART single-wire communication, which can be used to turn on the direct-through mode to charge the earbuds and increase the charging times of the charging case.
SSD153 is a synchronous, high-efficiency, step-up boost converter. It is designed to operate from an wide input voltage range between 2.6V and 20V with up to 15A peak switch current limit. The device adopts adaptive constant off-time and current mode control. The pseudo-constant switching frequency in CCM can be programmed. PFM/USM/PWM light load operation is selected by the MODE pin. It also supports adjustable switching frequencies from 300kHz to 2MHz for different inductor and output capacitor combinations.
