SS215X

Overview

SS215X is a SoC with an integrated 5V synchronous buck-boost module that includes charger management, power path management, high-precision ADCs, and rich interfaces. It is suitable for all kinds of intelligent hardware devices that need to be charged and discharged through a USB port, and effectively reduces the development difficulty, PCB area and BOM cost of the overall solution and brings high integration, high flexibility and streamlined peripheral devices.

- Integrated 2A synchronous boost module
- Switching frequency of 500K with conversion efficiency up to 94%
Charge management module（Charger）
- High-efficiency switching charge module, supporting multiple battery specifications
- Adjustable charge current is up to 2A
- Support 4.2V~4.4V battery type
- Integrated high-precision coulomb calculation
Power path management module
- Accurately detect the situation of access to power supply and load, allocate power path, and realize automatic switching of charge and discharge
- Built-in no-load detection function, when there is no load, automatically enters a low-power state
- Supports simultaneous charge and discharge
- The average current in the low-power state is 40uA
Integrated 12-bit, 8-channel differential high-accuracy ADC
- Support battery voltage and battery current measurement
- Supports voltage, current, and temperature measurement

Multiple protective measures
- Boost supports short-circuit, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection
- Charger supports overvoltage, overcharge, over-discharge, and overcurrent protection
- Support system overtemperature protection
- ESD 4KV, DCIN transient withstand voltage up to 18V

2 Timers
- 1* 16-bit timer0, 1* 20-bit timer1
- All support Normal, Circle, and Reload modes
- All support PWM output
1 watchdog timer, can be used to reset when the system runs overtime

Supports up to 16 bidirectional I/O ports
- All I/Os support input, output, and Hi-Z modes
- All I/Os support adjustable drive capability
- All I/Os have built-in pull-up/down functions
- 9 I/Os support constant current mode
1 Pin is multiplexed key detection and LED control
